Tea Party!

 Today Caleigh and Alona had all of their friends over with their Mommy's for a morning tea. We had lots of fun making sun hats, sipping tea and then running around the yard!

Dance Video's!

During this first song Alona was trying to tell her dance friend what to do and I could not stop myself from laughing! So you will have to excuse the camera shaking but I was holding it as still as I could! (Alona is the little girl in the middle who stole the show!)

Although Caleigh was nervous before we arrived at the Koger Center she did a beautiful job once she was on stage! This is the only video I have of Caleigh because I was so busy taking pictures and forgetting the camera had video capabilities during her first dance! (She is the second little girl on the end going from left to right)

Alona is the little girl in the middle again...

Dance!

Caleigh and Alona had their first Strutt recital today and they were amazing! The morning started out a little rushed because I thought I had the white ruffle socks for tap, but I didn't! So when we were supposed to be leaving to get downtown we were having to make a Wal-Mart stop for white ruffle socks, and oh fabric glue because the button to Caleigh's costume had fallen off! After getting the button to stick we were off to the Koger Center and actually made it with a few minutes to spare!!!

Caleigh and Alona both danced to two songs, one ballet and one tap. Their personalities were very evident in their mannerisms on stage! Caleigh was very exact and delicate about everything she did and Alona was out in her own little world.

I forgot that my camera had video capabilities so I was only able to capture one of Caleigh's dances!!! But I do have lots of pictures from the first one, although I don't have any pictures of Alona dancing because I took all video!!!

When I grow up...

At dinner the other night my best friend Ashley asked Caleigh, “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

Caleigh, in her sweet, fiver-year-old little voice, with all seriousness said, “A dog trainer.”

Ashley and I could not hold back the laughter. For some of you this may not be funny but for those of you who know Caleigh you are probably in tears from laughing as well.

Caleigh is my precious little girl who loves to wear a dress every single day of her life, paint her nails, fix her hair and play dress-up. She is just about as girly-girl as you can get!

I had to blog this because it is one of those sweet memories that you don’t want to forget…

Samantha and Josh

   Caleigh and Alona were flower girls in Samantha and Josh's wedding this weekend and were absolutely adorable. Leading up to their wedding they were asking lots and lots of questions..."Momma, are we going to have to walk by ourselves?"..."Are there going to be a lot of people?"..."Momma, Aunt Mantha will be right behind us, right?"..."How many petals are we going to have to throw?"..."Momma, Aunt Mantha will watch out for us, right?"...and on and on and on. It was funny all the little things they were worried about, I wish I had written everything they said down so I could remember it!!! They were a little nervous during the rehearsal, but when it came to the wedding they were perfect.

CONGRATULATIONS Samantha and Josh! We love you and were delighted to be a part of your special day!
