Every year Caleigh and Alona's preschool has a trike-a-thon followed by a parent picnic. This year the weather was beautiful and they had so much fun riding their scooter and tricycle and spending the morning with their Mimi and Obie!

A Day at the Beach
Brenda and I decided to take our girls to the beach for the day and we could not have picked a better day. The weather was perfect and the girls had fun building sand castles and playing in the water, although it was a bit chilly when you got in!!!

Easter
We had a wonderful Easter. Every year I have dressed them exactly alike, but this year Caleigh and Alona wanted to pick out their own Easter dresses and shoes. I had a moment of sadness as I realized how fast they are growing up but I couldn't say no. So when we were in Corbin Granny took her great-grand-babies shopping and they picked out these beautiful dresses, which capture my daughters personalities perfectly!
On our Easter morning Caleigh and Alona were a little unsure about coming around the corner after they realized the Easter Bunny had visited and been in their house, but once they saw chocolate in their baskets their apprehension quickly went away! The best part was watching their faces light up over being able to have a few bites of chocolate in the morning. Caleigh and Alona asked, "Momma, chocolate before breakfast?!?!" over and over, ha!

Aunt Jessica
My best friend from first grade came to visit us for a few days and we had a ton of fun catching up and watching home videos from back in the day!
We love you Aunt Jess and can not wait for you to come visit again!
